Reunited...Texas Style

On April 19, 2011 Topher left for San Antonio, Texas to complete an intensive 8.5 week course called "Boot Camp."

Toph and Kadie wrote many letters during this time, and it was tough not seeing eachother for nearly 2 months. During this time Kadie helped her mom with the "Camas Mother's Day Plant Sale," as well as working and being an active leader to her 4-H club, Milk and Eggs.

After 8.5 weeks, Kadie as well as Topher's parents flew down to San Antonio Texas to watch Toph graduate from basic training at the Lackland Air Force Base. Toph's squadron The Knights flight 417 squadron 324 placed "Warrior Flight" in basic training.
On June 16, 2011 Topher graduated from basic training. We were all very proud.

Simply Surprised ♥

On a cloudy April Sunday in mid. 2011, Toph got this idea to have Kadie hike up Dog Mountain.
Little did she know halfway up the most difficult trail wearing new balance "walking" shoes, Toph would pop a huge question.

"Will You Marry Me?"

At that life-changing moment, there were like a 127 billion things racing through my head. I started to cry.

"Well?" asked Toph, still on one knee...which was getting wet due to a previous April shower.

"Heck yes I will" I said...still completely shocked.

That was one of the best moments I will always remember forever and beyond. Not only because I was asked to be married to someone, but to share it that moment and be married to my very best friend in my life.
